The calendar control provides the productive and intuitive ways to manage tasks across the team, provides sellers a peace of mind knowing that team tasks are organized, prioritized, and delivered.
- Benefit of the new calendar view: Once you add the new calendar view (calendar control V2) to an entity, you can see all the records in a calendar view and get a clear understanding of your assignments.
- Find records Quickly: You can quickly find a record by searching through records in the new and improved interface.
- Manage records easily: You can easily create, edit, and delete a record directly from the calendar view.
- Supports personalization settings: The new calendar view considers the default view mode, work hours, and time zone set by user.
STEPS TO CREATE A CALENDAR VIEW:
Step 1:Let’s create a calendar view for appointments. Click on the Advance find button (funnel icon) in the top right of screen.
Step 2: In the ‘Look for’ dropdown select Activities. Then click the ‘Select’ dropdown below and choose Activity Type. A new window will pop-up. Select Appointment from the available values.
Step 3: Now click Edit columns in command bar.
Step 4: The Edit Column window will now pop-up. Select Custom Controls on the right. Once the Custom Controls window opens, click Add Control and choose Calendar Control V2.
Now choose Preferred control viewable on Web, Phone and/or Tablet.
Click the pencil icon below to select required fields for start Date, Description, End Date, etc. and then click OK.
Step 5: Click OK again to close the Edit Columns window. Click Save As on the ribbon and provide a name for new view in order to save the view.
Now close the Advanced find.
Refresh the browser and go to activities entity. Newly created view will be available as calendar view.
